"Oh, no." She muttered. Her friend looked at her. "The... Academy?" She asked. Her friend nodded. "Well, then, in that case, you'd better start wearing fireproof clothes, because that's what's gonna be fallin' when those two get together."
And indeed, fire will fall.
For as long as she can remember, Headmistress Shay Malinskii has remembered the day when two schools- The Academy for the Higher Knowledge and North Mountain School- came together. Shay and the present Headmistress of AHK were in school at that time.
Shay and Rose (the present Headmistress) were far more competetive than the other students. They both liked the same guy, and Shay's friends were becoming Rose's friends. Shay hated Rose with a passion.
Eventually, there came the day when they both competed in the same sport- show jumping. Shay and Rose worked their horses hard, both abrest of each other.
But then disaster struck- Shay's horse, McKinley, spooked. Rose had brandished her crop in front of his eyes, and he fell over. Shay fractured her leg in three places, thus Rose won. She brought victory to AHK, even though the previous headmaster, Louis Carter, had seen what his pupil had done. He was anything but mad- he was proud of her.
Shay has never forgotten that, and it has been her life's goal to beat the crap out of Rose Carter one day, to show her what real, fair competition was about.
All of the students of AHK and NMS had heard about Shay and Rose's unfortunate battle, but both were different versions. Rose had told her students that Shay had been whipping her horse and her own crop had scared him.
Once again, battle breaks out and the students are struck by the terror of it. Except this time, it's Shay's daughter against Rose's son.
Roses's POV
For as long as she can remember, Headmistress Rose Dillard has remembered the day when two schools- The Greenwood Academy and North Mountain School- came together. Rose and the present Headmistress of NMS were in school at that time.
Rose and Shay (the present Headmistress of North Mountain School) were far more competitive than the other students. They both liked the same guy, and Rose's friends were becoming Shay's friends. Shay hated Rose with a passion.
Eventually, there came the day when they both competed in the same sport- show jumping. Shay and Rose worked their horses hard, both abreast of each other.
But then disaster struck- Shay's horse, McKinley, spooked. Shay had been whipping him too hard and Shay's own crop had spooked him, and he fell over. Shay fractured her leg in three places, thus Rose won. Shay argued that Rose had done it but Rose claims otherwise. She brought victory to GWS, even though the previous headmaster, Louis Carter, was anything but mad- he was proud of Rose for it.
Rose and has never forgotten that, and it has been her life's goal to beat the crap out of Shay one day, to show her what a real, fair competition was about.
All of the students of GWS and NMS had heard about Shay and Rose's unfortunate battle, but both were different versions. Shay had told her students that Rose had pulled out her crop in the middle of the show, thus spooking McKinley.
Once again, battle breaks out and the students are struck by the terror of it. Except this time, it's Shay's daughter against Rose's daughter.
Now.......
All students around the New Jersey/ New York area are competing in a big competition in Greenwood. There are a mix of students from all different levels and disciplines. Now, as Greenwood's students are training and preparing, horses, lesson and students' horses are disappearing and are found in forests just out side of Greenwood with broken halters and filthy coats. They look like they haven't eaten for days, just nibbling at the grass that manages to break through the winter soil. Someone keeps receiving mysterious letters. Threats, clues, what could they mean? Parents are threating to sue Greenwood if their horses aren't found and Rose Dillard, owner and Headmistress of the school is worried Greenwood might be shut down. Two students have been lurking around the stables and it seems their up to something. Or does it? Now Jordan Dillard and five other students are determined to find out what their up to. Who it really is, is the question. Perhaps it's sabotage? Maybe revenge, or just for the only thought that seems to lurk in people's minds, winning. However, the competition is only 2 weeks away. Can they find the missing horses and help them before then? Or will Greenwood lose their winning streak because of a 15-year-old girl?
Yeah, I've been mulling over this for a long time, and it seems like a good idea. If anyone has any suggestions, reply to this thread and we'll discuss it! I appreciate anything, and no one's going to laugh at what you say anyway, so where's the harm? By the way, Greenwood Stables is another website. To visit, go to Greenwood Stables in the ceegory Sister Sites. Clikc the board and it'll take you there. Nifty bit of coding, isn;t it?
