Plot
"Oh, no." She muttered. Her friend looked at her. "The... Academy?" She asked. Her friend nodded. "Well, then, in that case, you'd better start wearing fireproof clothes, because that's what's gonna be fallin' when those two get together."

And indeed, fire will fall.

For as long as she can remember, Headmistress Shay Coleman has remembered the day when two schools- The Academy for the Higher Knowledge and North Mountain School- came together. Shay and the present Headmistress of AHK were in school at that time.

(to read the full plot, click here)

Shay has never forgotten that, and it has been her life's goal to beat the crap out of Rose Carter one day, to show her what real, fair competition was about.

All of the students of AHK and NMS had heard about Shay and Rose's unfortunate battle, but both were different versions. Rose had told her students that Shay had been whipping her horse and her own crop had scared him.

Once again, battle breaks out and the students are struck by the terror of it. Except this time, it's Shay's daughter against Rose's son.

Across the rolling green hills, there are water troughs, toys, and shelters for your horse, also including an apple orchard and a ravine that is blocked off by a fence. Four horses can be kept in a pasture at once.

[ ]Tack & Feed Room (1 sub-board)
Several old-fasioned, antique-like trunks contain grooming supplies and feed, and the walls are magnificently decorated with yellowing horse albums from the 1900's. This roomy Tack & Feed provides all of the tacking and feeding needs for all of North Country's horses.

[ ]Lesson Horse Stables
Surrounding the Lesson Horse Stables is their Block, kept away fromtthe privately owned horses. Each horse has a private paddock, since the Stable is large and roomy. For the students, a huge hay room was provided so early risers can wait for the rest of their class so it can begin.

[ ]Stallion's Block (1 sub-board)
These stalls are roomy and inviting with the addition of hay nets, water troughs, and a sterling silver plait on the door indicating the stallion who lives there. These paddocks are used for privately owned stallions only.

[ ]Gelding and Mare's Block
Trimmed green grass surrounds this barn, which used to be a holding place for old race horses and Clydesdale carriage pullers. The carriages and photos of wins and tropheys still exist, so sometimes the younger children come in a play on these inviting grounds. Sometimes, the experienced riders can try and teach a lesson horse to use the carriage, but more carriages have been lost that way than in other accidents. It is no longer allowed.

[ ]Hunting Arena
If you go down the Grassy Ravine trail and take a left before you hit Sunset Lake, you'll find yourself in a beautiful set of hunting... yes. There's a water jump to one side, and some fake rubber snakes to test your horse's endurance of such things in the shed.

Trails
[ ]Grassy Ravine
A deep gouge in the earth exists on the outskirts of the meadow. It is blocked off by fences, but that doesn't stop overly rambunctios riders from toppling over the edge...

[ ]The Old Bridge Trail
Halfway across this well-ridden trail is an old bridge. It's sturdy and still usable, though it may not look that way. On sunny days, it's bright and cheerful-looking, but on rainy days, the bridge looks like it's about to be washed away by the river.

[ ]Adirondack Trail
Winding through the rocky hills of the Adirondack Mountains, a horse trail resides. It is the least commonly used trail because you must stop at least five times to remove rocks from your horse's shoes.

[ ]Desert Mountains
A long stretch of endless sand. No trees. In the old shed, dustbunnies so big they actually look like rabbits. That's the Desert Mountains for you. Rarely anyone who isn't an Experienced or Advanced rider comes here, and in Freshman and Eight grade, the school takes a trip here for three days, in the hot, desert sun.

[ ]Lounge & Kitchen
If you are ever hungry during the middle of the night, or wwant a snack in between class periods, then you'd come to the kitchen and louge. Surrounding the small island in the middle are several comfy armchairs. On the left, the eat-you-alive chair is nearest to the fireplace, and the color scheme is of brilliant gold and red.

[ ]Headmistress's Dorm (1 sub-board)
Ever curious about where the headmistress sleeps, considering she doesn't sleep with the other instructors? Well, she sleeps right here, in a small house that used to be a guest home when the school was still a mansion.
